NPA guerillas killed two policemen in the central Philipppines.

December 10; Despite a Ramadan truce, MILF guerillas clashed with army troops on several occasions. The MILF is thought to have taken losses, but they managed to withdraw with their dead and wounded. 

December 8; NPA guerillas killed a police commander in the central Philippines.

December 6; The army overran two MPLI camps in the south, inflicting several casualties on the guerillas.

December 2; Communist guerillas sprayed the headquarters of  Philipinas Shell Oil company headquarters with rifle and grenade fire.
