The Czech Republic has agreed to a US request to send the 9th Chemical Defense Company to Kuwait to protect the headquarters of the 3rd US Army. This company has 158 troops, but the Czechs will send another 200 troops including logistical support specialists and a rifle security platoon.--Stephen V Cole
