Under a new program, three Marine Corps majors will spend a year working for civilian corporations in order to study decision-making and management techniques. These officers will continue to draw their military pay, meaning that they will not be costing their civilian "employers" anything. Next year, ten more majors will spend one-year tours with a variety of corporations.--Stephen V Cole
