ATLANTIC OCEAN (MAY 14, 2007) - Naval Special Warfare watercraft lands in the ocean after being released by two C-130s during a Maritime Craft Air Delivery System (MCADS) drop. Elements of Special Operations Command Europe, USNS Grasp (T-ARS 51), USS Kauffman (FFG 59) and the Sixth Fleet flagship USS Mount Whitney (LCC/JCC 20) conducted the MCADS operation during exercise Flexible Leader 07. Flexible Leader is a joint exercise designed to increase speed and cohesiveness when standing up a Joint Forces Maritime Component Command (JFMCC).
