Civil disorder is growing in China, as can be seen by the larger number of police being killed. So far this year (through November 10), 390 police officers were killed while on duty, while another 3,916 were injured. Since the Communists took over in 1948, the average number of police deaths each year was 110. But in the last few years, this has been growing rapidly.
