Two members of Abu Sayyaf were arrested in a city near Basilan. The two were trying to buy weapons and ammunition. The arrested men were also suspected of being couriers for ransom money. On Basilan, troops caught up with a group of 30 Abu Sayyaf. The clash left two soldiers wounded.
