The brother of an Abu Sayyaf leader was killed and another rebel killed during an army raid on Basilan. Two rebels were captured. In another incident, a rebel was killed. In the south, MILF rebels attacked an army patrol, breaking the ceasefire and leaving several rebels and soldiers dead.
