In the southern city of General Santos, 18 bombs (planted or tossed from cars) went off, killing 14 and wounding at least 60 others. Elsewhere, the army interrupted an ambush by 40 MILF fighters and killed four of the rebels. In other operations, an MILF member was captured. The MILF is supposed to be enforcing a ceasefire so that peace talks can begin. This isn't working.
