Six MILF commanders, and 85 of their subordinates (with 82 weapons), surrendered to the army. Fighting in the last few days has also left at least 60 MILF members dead. The army has increased pressure on the MILF, feeling that the rebel organization is weak and falling apart. This appears to be the case, but the MILF still has thousands of armed men who can fight.
