The army found and captured a major NPA camp in northern Luzon. There were 25 bunkers and seven classroom buildings in the jungle location. Weapons, documents, food and other items were captured, although all of the rebels had fled, taking their wounded with them. This appeared to be a major headquarters for the NPA.
