"Yes, but so often Turkish soldiers have rolled triumphantly through London, Paris, Berlin, Beijing, and Delhi, right?"-SC Unfortunately in the past the Turks have ridden through Dehli, although I would dare them to try that today. -HoH

>> Unfortunately in the past the Turks have ridden through Dehli, although I would dare them to try that today. - HoH << Wonder of these Turks would consider those Turks even cousins? I mean many of the "Turkic" invasions of India was in reality one Turkic brigand running from a bigger one in Central Asia. Mohamed of Ghazni was running from the Caliph (more like his Turkish Sultan), Ghori from fall-out of Ghazni's death, Timur from the anarchy of Mongol collapse, Babur from fall of Timurid dynasty (and accompanying rise of Uzbegs). And the final successful invasion was by Nadir Shah and his slave Abdali. While I believe this guy is referring completely to Ottoman and related Turks. Against them, our record is mixed... but something you might find interesting because many of MLI battle honors were won against them. Some in victory, some in defeat. But the end result was the Maratha became as associated with Mid-East as Gharwali in France. OF course it was the typical WWI story of lions led by donkeys, only it was the biggest British surrender between Yorktown and Singapore.

hi, Hound of Hello i agree with your list. But swap korea's position to that of number seven. South korea has a very good tank and is definately better equiped than all those i put after it. much better euipeed than canadian army or Japans "SELF DEFENSE FORCE" definately beter than indias second class baggage train. EVn if S.Korea doesnt have the population, it has a fiar one and if definatley better equpped than those others and is always ready on a warfooting with the north.

I agree that this is perfect chart, See today india second highest militray mens ,in gorila training india is the guru of the world. I think usa people understand in vietnam war they suffered lot. Even usa having god technology they not fight in ground war. Indians people are very intellegent in today world, doctors, software engineer or anything indian control everywhere we dont war if all indians are come to our home simply usa will gone'''. See every country having own power
no time is: China, india, in old time: Germany,Japan and england. But onething is unhappy indians political peoples  are very bad that is the reason india not in first place.
