Subject: Rapid Response Vehicle Camouflage
jeepj10    3/28/2009 6:09:13 PM
I noticed a lot of times when the U.S. Marines roll there vehicles usually are camouflaged in the standard woodland pattern. I know this has to do with there ability to switch patterns quickly. It looks like units thats main objective is to respond fast would use a universal camouflage similar to Multicam uniform patterns. I thought something with a pattern of brown, tan, light green and forest green and small splotches of alternating colors through out the the patterns would work great. Then let the natural weathering of dust and mud fill in the gaps as the vehicle is used in the field. Whats your thoughts.

Ask most soldiers.  Their universal pattern stands out universally.  Units that are scheduled to deploy to a region usually get appropriately colored gear.  If they don't the stuff will eventually get repainted.
