Subject: Army awards Bell-Boeing study contract for QTR

At aviationnow.com it has been announced that the Army has awarded a study contract to meet the Joint Heavy Lift requirement to Bell-Boeing team to study the suitability of the Quad Tiltrotor or QTR for meeting that requirement which may include a 1000km radius in VTO/VL with a 25 ton lift.
