Instapundit uses Disqus, and gets hundreds of comments on any Ukraine-related post of this sort. StrategyPage should wise up and try the same approach to building a commenter community.

I made a similar comment long time ago. It was ignored. I would recommend a different platform though, the Discourse. It's free, it has real-time notifications, and it's configurable.
