Some critics of Bradley fighting vehicle say that Bradley is compromise, not good enough both, as fighting vehicle and as troop carrier. They say that "pure" APC is better because it does one thing good, carrying more troops. Are they right or wrong, I don't know, but same goes for any and all IFV's out there. That might be the answer to the question how useful IFV's are on the modern battlefield. However, new IFV models are still being designed and manufacture by many nations. UK created and used large variety of armored cars and IFV's since the end of WWII. Perhaps their experiences hold the answer.
