Russian T90 vs American M1A2 Abrams - Which is better? If these tanks fought in battle, which would suffer more casualties, which one is superior? What are their advantages? Any information would be helpful.

This thread should be renamed "idiot russian fanboy talks tanks".

At least this is better than him drinking cheap aftershave to get high, which has dramatically reduced the life expectancy of his generation : (

I've watched the last 20 odd pages and felt like stabbing my eyes out with a red hot fishing hook....

I've worked with some russian engineers on various projects, they're nothing like this.  smart operators, knew their stuff.  easy to deal with.

welcome to the internet

That wasn't directed at you. I've already had my M16 vs AK rant. Like I said, if some people didn't want to really engage in debate then I see no reason to when dealing with them.

so your statement that ak47 is failure was directed to me only right? LOL ....what a full of shit person you are. you do not hold responsibility of your words here. throwing out a shit statement, and then in a cheap way trying to escape from it.

gf12... its really difficult to deal with anyone or have debate when he spits out such shit. its been 4-5 times when the debates went in more and more details (without any bad words yet!) but suddenly he tried to get around with jokingly conclusions or closing statements.

anyhow... i guess thats it.

"bunch of stupid americans talk about high tech weapons"

But since you keep throwing shit here, i dont see a reason in plain opposing... anyhow thats not gona change facts. have your own "truth".

I agree with gf0012-aust about the AK.  Its combat record speaks for itself.  The fact that it has been in use for so long under the kinds of conditions it has been subjected to, especially with the kinds of operators it has had, says a lot about its durability.
I agree with you about the M-16, however.  It got a bad rap early on because of the way the Army handled the transition to it from the M-14.  Currently the M4-M16-family are some of the best assault weapons you can get.
As for the MiG-31, why would you consider it a failure?  As far as an interceptor aircraft goes it was strong, fast, and had a powerful radar.

No, I'm being serious. Russia produces equipment that is more likely to kill the operator than the enemy.

It's called beating a troll at their own game.

No.  Actually ceramic is better than steel against KE as well.  Perforated gets more out of metal while costing less and no breaking up over terrain.

Quick correction about what I said on the AK. The safety isn't located in the trigger well (I was thinking the M14). The safety is located on the right side and is a lever that you push up or down. That's even worse and it takes way longer to go from safe to fire compared to an M16.
