http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sscYIVx4CgY Awesome. In case you don't understand the commentary, the Troposphere 5 rocket was supposed to reach Mach 3 and and altitude of 36 km. The scientists and engineers in charge built it on top of their laboratory (yes, with the hanging laundry, that's the place) and there was a rat inside. The critter's survival's dubious, although there was no news about it afterwards. At least it's hilarious.

Can not be sure, but it looks to me like it either turned horizontal shortly after launch or detonated on the pad.  Given that the rocket casing is obviously a steel pipe, I hope no one was hurt.
