If at anytime SP does something strange, specifically after submitting a post simply navigate away using the browser address bar and then come back to SP. Your post will have gone through even if SP gives you any of the error messages. Under absolutely NO circumstances should you use the refresh or broweser forward or back buttons!!!!!

My dear AE, on the off chance that this somewhat misfiled post actually reaches the attention of SYSOP and is slated for action on the site's part, let me add that the organization of the topic listings is not oriented towards keeping up with running discussions.  One is forced to much more comprehensive site browsing to stay ahead.  It could conceivably drive up site stats but in every other way is less efficient.

One thing that would help is to note new posts since your last visit to the topic. I guess that's my latest bone to pick, wherefore I jump on your own little rant here ;>  Two for the price of one.

Although I suppose you are preferring to advise people how to avoid a user-caused error, ather than fixing the site issues.

Well, it's a point of view.
