The numbers for these groupings vary greatly, especially from country to country. I think there are four regiments in a brigade, a column I believe is just a formation or a line of troops and a company would be several brigades. This may be incorrect.

It veries greatly, but if you want a standard it would go like this. Squad-10 Platoon-30 Company-100 Battalion-1000 Regiment-Ranges from 1,2,3,4 battalions(lets say 2, 2000) Brigade-4-6 Battalions, say 5000 Division-Ranges greatly, say 4 brigades, 20000 Corps-Once again ranges greatly, say 3, 60000 Army- Ranges, say 3 corps, 180 000 Army Group, ranges, 2 armies, 3600 000 This subject is hard to point out, as in the British army there is between 600 to 800 personel. This should have given you some sort of idea though.
