Subject: Bowling for Ayatollahs - or, The Mullah Wars, Part 3

Jeff MacNelly of the Chicago Tribune had a famous cartoon back in the 1980s after the fall of the Shah, when the Ayatollahs were getting knocked off in intrafracine (sp?) warfare as the various factions vied for power. There was a bowling lane, with the pins having the heads of turbanned Iranian ayatollahs. The bowling ball barrelling down the lane had a lit fuse on it. I still have it hanging on my bulletin board, as a reminder. That was Part 1. Part 2 was after the dust settled, the revolution continued eating its own, with more secular Iranian leaders forced into exile and then assassinated in Paris and other places. Is Part 3 beginning now? from the Weekly Standard: http://www.theweeklystandard.com/Check.asp?idArticle=6575&r=kccof swhitebull Looks
