Subject: Has Iran dangerously miscalulated Israels reaction??

While able to keep EU & US (via Iraq threat) --will Israel sit around quietly?? I think not--Iranian belligerence may not result in Israels acquiescence...expect an Israeli attack with missiles...

I would agree. Israel maybe a small country. It can pack a punch militarily. I am sick and tired of countries trying to punish Israel. This should not be permitted at all. The time will come though, Israel will unfortunately have to defend herself again and again. The hatred runs deep. The US will defend Israel and rightly so. May peace soon become of the Middle East. Isreal would be hesitate to launch an attack on Iran, the U.S. would have to ahve an active part and having said that the U.S. would want more allied support.Attacking Iran would be a bold step that would only open up to a larger and greater conflict in the middle east.

I have no doubt Israel can take on Iran with no problem at all. They may require some support from the US though. Israel is more militarily capable then you might think. Admiral Kirk
