Subject: Congrats to Iran - They reminded everybody who has real power in the region

Iran seems to have calibrated what UK would do: Carter lite. What US would do: Hands tied following UK lead. What Moslem world would do: Congratulate the Big Men of Iran. Strategic knock-out-punch delivered. Set-game-match. GWOT is over.

Agreed. Although this isn't a "knock-out punch" ... Iran has clearly increased their image and once again showed how weak the west is. The UK is playing right into Iranian hands by going through all this diplomacy. Iran is once again emboldened, and the west humiliated.

The B-2's from Whiteman were flying over Kaufman Stadium for the Royal's Home Opener rather than gearing up for a thirty hour mission over Tehran.

Disappointing start to the week.

But I think you pretty much summed it up. From what I heard on the radio today seems the Brit's will basically bend over and grasp their ankles. As to the B2 fly over at the Royals game I think that was more of a subtle message to the Royals to either field a real major league team or face complete destruction.

"We have met the enemy and it is us"   - of course the EU will interpret "us" as "U.S."...
