al quada is far from dead. to many mesagges and comunications going on i would say we have only killed 10% of the bastards. there are groups around the world. that part of iraq would be a great hidding ground as far as their being a rebelious group in control of a splinter of a country. it would not suprise me at all. we want to make freinds with the kurds now but soon those camps will have to die and all those in them will have to die.

So long as the PKK is operating in Kurdistan, al-Qaeda will have allies. Both groups are viciously anti-American, striking against the US and anyone even remotely friendly to us. I would not be at all surprised to hear that the PKK (or ASALA, or any other Leftist groups in the region) are found to be connected in helping al-Qaeda recruit and rearm. We should, as soon as possible, get what friends we have in the Kurdish community to help us eradicate the PKK, once and for all. You'll find that once these terrorists are out of the way, al-Qaeda will lose whatever foothold they have in the region. Plus, if Kurds hate the PKK and KADEK as much as the Armenians hate ASALA, it should be very easy to get indigenous help, and will likely help our reputation there as well.
