| Hi all, nice to find this page. There's a couple of books I'll be picking up from this list...
Anyway, I would mention a couple of other series to you. First is the Sten series by Alan Cole and Chris Bunch. This is an exellent series, although the last 2 books could have been made into just one. But over the life of the series of about 8 books, the pace is kept quick and interesting.
Second is the Cobra books by Tim Zahn. These were written in the late 80's so some of the tech is a bit dated, but they are a great read anyway. Zahn also wrote a series called Conquerors Pride which wasn't bad. A bit sub par for Zahn, but good none the less.
I would also mention the X-Wing series. at least the ones that Stackpole wrote. They had less focus on SW and more on the squadron. |
