Subject: Range: Palladin & M777
Carl S    7/8/2008 6:40:20 AM
I'm seeking to clarify the variety of thirdhand sources for ranges on the Palladin & M777. Without revealing anything that will violate Federal laws, can a helpfull soul provide the firing table ranges? I have a copy of the FT 155 AM2 so if the data for the M185 & M199 tubes is applicable or very similar that will answer my question.

Data for the M185 tube not valid, the current M284 tube in the M109A6 offered significant improvements by way of the capability to shoot current top charges.  M199 data is valid.

M185 Ballistic Data IS valid, M284 tube incorporated external feature changes (Bigger Torque Key) to better withstand rifling torque when firing top charges
