Subject: Paul Volcker should resign from investigating UN
alaric    12/8/2004 12:16:33 AM
He was handpicked by Kofi to cover up the dirt not expose it. He sat on the board of Power Corp. of Canada and since Power is the largest shareholder in the french oil conglomerate Total/Elf/Fina he stood to make millions. It is grotesque to have this man "investigating" the UN while our troops die in conflict with an insurgency based in Syria and paid for with funds that he is trying to hide.

Basically, what you have is the UN investigating itself. Anyone who thinks we're going to get to the bottom of the scandal this way is living in a dreamland. I shudder to think at what all this UN "blood money" has probably funded.
