Subject: Does USA have the capability to invade Syria?
Roman    4/25/2004 2:27:30 PM
Well, the answer to that question is: of course it does. Perhaps a better question would be whether the US has this capability while continuing to occupy Iraq. Bear in mind that Syria would likely use chemical and biological weapons. If you want a scenario - let us say that the US acquires definite proof that Syria took and hid Saddam Hussein's WMD.

Liechtenstien probably has the capability to invade Syria. Actually that is hyperbole-as Shirush pointed out we can't count on it being a piece of oriental pastry. But at the same time it is pretty obvious that we can destroy Syria in a few weeks at most. The question is what to do next. Probably just give it to whatever local chieftain is stupid enough to want the job as one Iraq is enough. However Syria is a secondary problem to Iran. If as is likly Syria is giving help to the insurgents we should do counterraids over the border. There is nothing to lose and it makes us more feared.
