NYMAS Lecture, Friday, June 2: "Corporal Punishment in the Greek Phalanx and Roman Legion" On Friday, June 2nd, Prof. Jennie Kiesling, of the USMA History Department, will speak on "Corporal Punishment in the Greek Phalanx and Roman Legion: Modern Myths and Ancient Realities." NYMAS lectures, which are free to the public, begin at 7:00 pm and last about two hours. They are held at the CUNY Graduate Center, Fifth Avenue at 34th Street, in New York City
