NYMAS talk, Janaury 25th -- "The Soldier’s Experience of Battle in the Middle Ages" On Friday, January 25th, NYMAS will host Cliff Rogers, of the United States Military Academy at West Point, who will speak on "The Soldier’s Experience of Battle in the Middle Ages" NYMAS talks are free to the public. They are held at the CUNY Graduate Center, Fifth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets, diagonally across from the Empire State Building in mid-town Manhattan. Talks begin at 7:00 pm and usually last two hours. Following most talks, a contingent often goes out for dinner with the speaker, which provides an opportunity for some interesting conversatoin.
