Simply a statement of the importance Sweden has. The only way Sweden has any justification is as a Danish province. The problem is only that what sane person wants Stockholm and Göran Persson if they can help it???

Something like that. In fact the Swedish royal family started as a french general - the inbreeding hasn't helped. In fact Sweden reminds me more of a freshman psycology student: A person with so huge emotionel and personality problems that they have to meddle and lecture everybody else on their quirks. In fact I should think it in the best interest of the USA if instead of trying Condies patience (however well supplied she is in most departments - wit not the least - patience is hardly her long suit), the US should give a trusted allied like Denmark the task of explaining the rules of the game. I can imagine the glee in the eyes of the civil servant in our foreign department for that opportunity.
