Subject: Kosovo v. Afghanistan

Does anyone have numbers for the rate of munitions use in Kosovo compared to Afghanistan? As in, how much (if any) more intense has the bombing in Afghanistan been than in Kosovo? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but were ANY U.S. combat troops put on the ground in Kosovo for warfighting (not peacekeeping) purposes? Forgive my ignorance ... I was still a sophomore in high school at the time. --Phoenix Rising

Ben williams blethered: usa should face crimes against humanity they attacked aweddind in afghanistan! wankers This is the Kosovo bord mate. However,I'll indulge you. Since the wedding celebrations originated from a fort, where heavy caliber machine gun fire was spitting at a circling AC130 Gunship, the Gunships crew thought that the machine gun fire being directed into the air from the wedding party, Also present in that fort,in celebration, was part of the attack on them. You know, when it rains on a wedding party in the UK we go indoors, and throw confetti.I have real problems with a wedding party who stand in a war zone firing live rounds into the sky whilst a huge Gunship circles over a position they are receiving fire from. Then complain that they get butchered! Why not "celebrate" with the guns an hour later when the Gunship had gone? Why carry guns at all if your not a combatant? Now that sorted, care to talk about Kosovo?

Sorry, I just had to get my two bits in.... In addition to your comments Tommy I remember reading an editorial post in the London Metro which stated that in Afghanistan, they celebrate weddings by firing guns in the air, in England they celebrate weddings by consuming prodigious quantities of alcohol. Which country has the superior wedding traditions?
