It is a tax. It dose change system for people who like what they had. Price declines don't apear to be in our future. This thing is going to be so far over buget the unions will feel shame.

Health care had problems before so cut us some slack. That's like saying people died in the LA riots but don't get upset because some people die every Friday night in LA. The Dem party owns goverment health care now and that includes people who feel they have been pulled involentairly from the private system into a new less private and more goverment system. Private insurance company's were courted by the administration with promises of more consumers buying bigger plans. Goverment inforced demand was going to let them make up all losses with more volume. They may not be liking the ride now. They will face the risk that goverment will cut them out like the private banks in student laon market. But first the goverment will keep them around to blaim things on until the population gets conditioned to the changes. If you don't like the change it's private corporations fault, said the administration for one press rotation. They they said the compainys and doctors you thought you like were bad so you should be happy we changed things.

ker    Benefits and Costs   11/8/2013 2:19:43 AM
A disturbing split between the veiw of the two national partys in America eroding their ability to make basic decisions. In short they are in danger of beliving their own press releases. As we have heared about NSA and health care the administration wants to give a closer aproximation of the truth but you can't honestly expect them to make self defeating statements. Republicans count the cost of goverment. When they distort the truth they tend to redefine benefits of goverment action as costs. You don't need to spend much time with children who were malnurished before the age of five to see how it's cheaper to feed kids than deal with the after effects. But some republicans say food programs reduce peoples willingness to work. Right and drinking watter wile running a marathon reduces your willingness to run. Think of it as a defence program. Strong defence requires a strong recruitment pool requires reducing hunger as it's experienced and witnessed by the people. Free Huey Newton. Democrates distort the truth by exagerating benefits, lowballing costs and redefining costs as benefits. Inflation resulting from printing moeny to buy assets to raise stock market prices is described as a benefit. We should like inflation because it reduces the effective size of the national debt, stimulates the ecconomy by rewarding borrowing and punishing savings and magicly sucks value out or overly rich peoples bank accounts. In truth it's more like endangering Americas ability to borrow in our own currancy and devoring the substance of widows. Afordable Care Act is a very big program with many moving parts and objectives. Caculating it's costs and benefits and accuratly compairing they is difficult (by desighn?). Dems are saying that regulating chuncks of the health care insurance market out of existance is a benefit because those plans didn't pay for baldness treatments or sexchange oporations. Republicans are refusing billions in fed aid to expand state health care for the poor because the free lunch is time limeted but the expanded programs will go on and on. It's a way of living in denial of costs by focusing on how "the first ones free." What we need is less asperational language ready made for sound bites and more oporational language can and is translated into math. We need clear discritions of costs and benefits and their interactions. Goverment needs to do more with less.

Obama claims he is surprised that making peoples insurance systems illigal interfeared in their insurance systems. It's like controled flight into terrain but all the fog was of his own creation. Then press secretairy say that GOP can't have opinions on what happened because they have been screaming "pull up" all along. Walk back the cat and you fine the reason Obama went on blast with the "I'm not changing anything you don't want changed" repitition campain was because republicans were saying Obama is going to wreck existing coverage and raise prices. Policy cancilations and price increases bring peoples atention back to stuff obama said pass the bill. Pass it at any cost gets expensive! //////////////////////// Dems in congrass are looking for ways to belivably say that they were lied to as well. Like the copilot saying that saying blaim the pilot because I was asleep. I didn't understand to bill I voted for. It was to long to read. We couldn't posible have suspected that Obama was less than truthful because we were working so hard beating up Republicans for calling obama a lier. But NOW the members of congrass are looking for a way out of the plane. Bill Clinton wants to reopen the law to make good on Obams promise. That is the promise not to change things as oposed to the promise to change things. There can be no change with out change. Ever one is for free/cheap medical care until the bill arives. This time the bill was passed to people who had insurance before. The tax was hidden, not very well, in insurance premums. Sticker shock happens and congress is now excited to help. A bill to save us from the first bill that was sopost to save us might pass over a veto. So the veto won't happen. 12 Dem Senators are asking for a new fix. I think fained ignorance is very unapealing in political leaders. We didn't know it would be like this./////////////////The criminalization of "substandared" insurance policys was not a buy it was a feture. Put another way your insurance policy wasn't colateral damage it was the target set. Now the roll out will come to different parts of the market at differan times. Individual market was first and policys were not crimanalized all at the same time but as they came due for renewal. That's called salmi slicing, just take a very small slice each time. That way people don't understand what your doing or can pretend not to. If the the slice is done bably it has the oposite effect. Change the metiphore to chines water torcher. The differance is weather you are thinking about the last cut or anticipating the next one. When is this going to end? //////////////////////// Many Americans buy bread that is the nutritional equivalant of marahmellows. It's bad for them but they like it. Let's say that ever loaf of popular bread must come with another loaf of health food bread. Bread would be more than twice as expensive. Goverment would need to subsidise bread and pay for it by taxing bread. But man dose not live by bread alone so every loaf needs to come with a jar of peanut butter and a toath brush. If you alergic to penuts or have made your own peanut butter for generations dose not matter you can only buy bread if you buy peanut butter with it. Any one who dosn't suport my plan wants to starve children. One of the goals of Obamacare was to make insurance bettter by covering more stuff. The fact that making it better could cause some people to get nothing rather than the basic stuff they were getting was dismissed. Goverment will subsidize some and the rest will work out. We'll make it up on volume. Wile Obama care was passed with claims that it would adress the dangerious inflation in health care costs it also was used to redistribut those costs. Fixing the fact that GM spends more on healthcare than steel got lost in the fog. Making sure that young men get the bill for birth control pills was more important to the bills authors.

"Let me be clear. When I said (the website would work by) end of November I did not say which November. Let me be clear." John Steward in parody of the President. You know what a libral is? Some one who dosn't care what you do as long as it's manditory." Krauthammer. Keep your eyes off the wed site. The web site is like the telephone system on the Hindenburg. It worked perfectly and didn't matter a wit. There is a higharcy of problems in which the website being down is a footnote. If the website had handled trafic ass well as Youtube or if it was as flawless as the phones on the Hindenburg it would give us no protection from fatal structural flaws in the Law. Insurance products work one way, goverment intitalments work another way and mashing up bits of insurance and intitalment into a new thing and sprinkaling glory and pride dose not make it work. Ordering it to work is like ordering the Hindenburg to stop burning. Crise Mathews even distanced him self, "this President dosn't have a chain of comand, a very clear line of athority and unique responcibility ... he's got floaters like Valiry Jerat floating around. He dosn't want to have a real cheif of staff like Jim Baker. He dosn't want to give athority to people." Mathews coments were weakened by his belief that Gen. Douglas 'death march' McCarthor was a paragon of competance and accountability. That is a pretty low standard to get below. Mathews wasn't thinking about us getting treated like American ground forces in Philopeans and Korea but was thinking of us getting treated like Japans population under occupation. Pretend every things great until it explodes and then scramble to find some face saving remind you of anyone? Republican Mike Murphy was more direct. Losing eather public faith in you credibility or your compatancy is bad. Losing both at wonce is a big deal. The message, "no one will lose anything they like" has become, "that stuff you had and liked might be given back to you for a year if your state insurance regulator dose it." So the beltway game is now "what can distract from obama care?" This problem has a huge inbox that just won't stop. The law is full of dates when things must happen. The easy anouncements have been made. Now it about bills showing up for servaces Obama gave us as gifts. More and more of the "gifts" are going to be broken and the bills are only going to get bigger. Obama won't be much more forthcoming about the costs than he has been about anything else. So plan on more surprises and shifting dead lines. "Let me be clear. When I said I would return America to the rule of law after the election I didn't say which election. Let me be clear." Ker paroding Obama.

ker    The Tail of Two User Experiences   11/29/2013 1:19:46 PM
We tride to talk about Obama Care at Thanksgiving dinner. Conversation quickly turned to Mrs Obamas moves to make getting permits to sell food to public school lunch programs like getting a licqure licence in NY. And how the nutritional food isn't nutritional in the trash bins. Janitors need trucks to haul out the waste but I digress.////////One myth wight people belive is that every one gets the same treatment at the medical provider. How you pay and other factor matter in turms of care. Not so much the number of services you are billed for but the amount of quality time spent on your bed side and planning. So if your in medicare and the goverment is pretending to pay your doc may be pretending to care. Well the honest ones refuse the patient and send them search. I don't want to belong to any club that will have me as a member. Medicade patients get new employes who are less trusted and experienced. Small Providers who try to make a living off medicade get to spend lots of time (w/o a lawyer) getting interogated about their billing. There iis real fraud as well. ////////// So the real ruber road interface is NOT the goverment website. The critical user experience is when a mother who had private insurance and was Obamaed into medicare takes her kid to the doctor and get sent down the road to find a new doc who takes her plan. Then when she finds a provider the care and "surondings" will be different. Let's say longer waits at all stages, more securety gaurds and longer drives to the doc (I mean pratissioner in training who couldn't get a better gig.). Let's say the I don't need a husband cause I got Obama vote will not be amused. Divorced women being a gold mine votter block for his party. ////////// So never forget the differance between health care financing and health care! A lot of trash metrics will be launched to delay realazation of what has happened. Keeping the resistance below critical mass is the goal. Forget making people happy. Just don't let the frustration ever get consentrated enough to cause real problems. People get tired and give up in time so delay the truth for another year. That way you can obsorb the protests at a managable rate. //////// real metrics could be health outcomes, user satisfaction at time of care, precentage of GDP spent on healthcare. /////////// Also keep an eye on the stream of new docs -quality and quanity and what kind of practice they go into. I see big expansion in off the books medicine camoflaged as dope deals. ////////////// I have great idea. The next GOP administration can violate the trial lawyers the way Obama has gone after the docs. Politics 101 expand ecconomic activitys you get a comission on and shrink ecconomic attivity that lines the pockets of the enemy. Healthcare is 1/6 of GDP. It is growing and getting redistributed away from the kinds of docs who make donations to GOP and towards the kinds of goverment employes who donate to Dems. /////// Let's herd private sector middle class folk into medicaid. Then direct rage towards class action lawsuets against private care providers and private insurance companys.

ker    We Lost   12/21/2013 4:05:28 PM
Don't make the mistake of seeing Obamas floundering as a win for Republicans. We lost and it is costing us. Best case senerio where Dems split and bill is largly vacated we still lost. We never get back to the starting line McCain could have had. We never get the lost time back and the posible set of real solutions is made smaller by Obam as bill. Say, If five states had started their own state programes in 2009 or earlyer, then we may have gotton some tested and helpfull ideas. Romnycare was a state program. It was not a massive remake the world for glory and fame gamble. We don't need to give a man a legacy we need health care. That is Obamacares first fault. /////////// Obama care deputises Health care insurance agency as defacto IRS agents. It alows them to drive up their gross recites at the point of a federal gun/prison/fine/intimidation. In exchange the hand some of the moeny back as increased benifits. Obama keeps rewriting the deal/law every time the people notice what is going on. The IMPORTANT thing is NOT what cost and benifits Obama hands out in Christmass pressconfrence. IMPORTANT thing IS that Obama is setting the presedent that he can change the rules of the program himself with out new congressional vote. Law has no governing majority suporting it. It may still be used to lay huge tax increases with out congress voting for them. The new taxes could be camoflaged as insurance company acounting or administration implementation decisions. Goverment as gaint check writing machine.
