Subject: Recoiless mount on a Bradley?
Stormhammer    3/3/2012 5:17:00 PM
Would it be feasible to mount a recoiless rifle in place of the TOW launcher on Bradleys? Marrying an improved rangefinder and sighting system to it to optimize accuracy, what kind of effective range would it have? It would bound to be cheaper than a TOW, and to be honest we're really not facing to many frontline tanks that make it neccesary to have the bradley's be equipped with TOWs, and I imagine it would be relatively simple to have rounds for a 105-106 mm recoiless such as thermobolic, squash heads, WP or cannister.
