Subject: WWI Film/TV Documentaries - Which Are The Best?
CJH    9/27/2014 8:28:20 PM
I have been looking over some available WWI documentaries on DVD. "The Great War" with Michael Redgrave as one narrator appears to be most comprehensive. It is supposed to be available on Amazon UK and is in the Region 2, PAL/SECAM DVD format only.

Of course one can probably buy region free DVD players.

But is anyone knowledgeable about this and other documentary series about WWI?

And are there now US TV format versions of "The Great War"?
