http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1222861/Pensioner-complained-gay-pride-march-warned-police-hate-crime.html Grandmother who objected to gay march is accused of hate crime By Andrew Levy Last updated at 8:10 AM on 26th October 2009 After witnessing a gay pride march, committed Christian Pauline Howe wrote to the council to complain that the event had been allowed to go ahead. But instead of a simple acknowledgement, she received a letter warning her she might be guilty of a hate crime and that the matter had been passed to police. Two officers later turned up at the frightened grandmother's home and lectured her about her choice of words before telling her she would not be prosecuted. So she tried to have the freedom of expression of others curbed but then had it happen to her in return. What goes around comes around apparently.

Don't find that sort of obscenity during spring break around my town. Apparently, rich, young, white college kids go to remote vacation spots to enjoy their lives, while we poor students go to find some part time jobs while preparing for MCAT or LSAT. That's exact the same kind of crap MFM push to become social norm.

Oh, BTW, I didn't know that you can't differ between wearing bikini on the beach and nudity to express sexuality on purpose.

If you think it's Asian thing that is against blatant normalization of perversion, you are wrong.

Same kind of blatant display of anomaly pushed by international agenda.

You really are a sad-act, aren't you YelliChink.
It's bad enough that you swallow the meaningless tripe dished out by the Daily Mail without question, but that you then take the time to post it incessantly on a messageboard is worse. The real cherry on the cake is that you aren't even British.

So why do you do it?

Troll?

And you just revealed how tolerant you are by denouncing a major UK news paper. Basically what you are saying is that I shouldn't believe anything from second largest news paper by circulation. Yeah, right.

The Daily mail tends to Skew facts to the right.

yes the woman has a right to protest and it doesnt make you a bigot not to want these parades (i find the whole thing irritating) but the content of the womans letter wasnt just a complaint (and a as far as im concerned legal request that future parades be stopped. Its a democracy every one is allowed an opinion.) This woman however judjing from escerpts printed elswhere basicaly called them evil and a crime against god -stopping just short of calling for them to be burnt at the stake. Her letter was judged offinsive hence the reprimand.

Im not sure it was a police matter myself though

Yes. I denounce the Daily Mail. While the news they report is sufficiently factual that they couldn't be held to account on that respect (and note that I do not) the selective reporting and opinion they build into the stories. Their living is selling accounts of outrage, even when not warranted, which you have fallen for hook, line and sinker.

So why do you do it?

Are you a troll?

All media do selective reporting, not necessarily because they are bias, which usually they do, but because the editorial boards all have limited space to squeeze in. And tell me that no other news paper have opinions built into their stories. In the end, the reporting and writing style decides which class reads what. For an elitist minded person, he despises tabloid type news paper. The masses know what they want and they stand for, that's why Daily Mail sell better.

As for the outrage, this new is outrageous. And you are indeed trolling when you can't debunk the outrageousness, but rather choose to silence other voice by ad hominem attack and trashing the credibility of the source.
