1st 100days there are dire warnings of UK pullout from Iraq--anything further forecasts??

I don't know what that situation is but I do know that Brown is, like many of his predecessors, a keen Atlanticist.  But he's also much more anti-EU than Blair is.  He won't let the Europeans push him around as easily as Blair did.

I don't think that he is either. While he seems keen on the ideas coming out of the USA he carries no dogma for either continent. I'd say he is more of a patriotic pragmatist.
