Answer in 3 hours. I bet on the French "On the whole, it is going to be a trench war, that is absolutely certain," said France lock Jérôme Thion. h*tp://worldcup.planet-rugby.com/Story/0,21043,13175_2796725,00.html I can not agree more. Say your bet!

Will ENGLAND retain their title?  Would like to think so, but think that France will win by 11 points.

In the spirit of entente cordiale, may the winner of this game be crowned world champions, more important that the NH wins, even if it is the French!

good hard game well fought by both teams.

did not celebrate to long or loud as of around 150 people in the bar i think only about 6 were english every one else was french.

its gotta be south africa in the final, after all they gave us a proper drubing so the chance to even the score would be great

Awfull. We dd not play with enough strengh. Our forwards were not enough powerfull and we have done a bad game on line out, rucks and pass.Obvioulsy too exhausted still by last week match with All Blacks where our team did almost 200 tackles and twice of a normal match.
Bad luck at the beginning also with english try in the first 2 minutes.
The coach is responsible to have kept the same team while we had so much good players on the bench who were fresh and willling to do (Nallet, Bruno, Rougerie and so on...)
Gutted.
We lost for the same reason than All Blacks.Unable to broke english commited and very good defense and to make the break.Chabal fell 2 feets away from Brtidsh line to score a try.Missed energy to do the last feet. Then a droap and a penalty decided for the game.
We had a golden opportunity to win the cup after All Black game and we lost it.
Laporte failed and he has no excuse.
Gutted.

personally i reckon france had the edge in the line out. certainly at half time it looked like a french win was in the air.

i felt the french played well, its looking like just maybe england has found form just at the right time.

again sorry about the lack of capitals im still writing with one finger

it has all been defense.....

they have been great in last 2 games but they don't have much of an offensive flair threat and rely on their pack overpowering the opposition...

Wilkinson did not play that well at the weekend. he missed kicks that you count on him to get.

they are going to find it very hard to overpower SA and it could come down to the kicking game and SA's kicker is on form and that only if the defense still playing out of its skin.. Wilkinson needs to step back up to his peak if we are to be in with a chance.
