I'm about 2/3 through William Stevenson's "A Man Called Intrepid", about Canadian spymaster, William Stephenson. The book makes numerous claims, the largest ones about Stephenson's role as liason between Churchill and Roosevelt during the war, and particularly prior to American entrance.
I came across a few almost angry criticisms of the book on Amazon. A few customers disputed that Stephenson even knew Churchill, let alone ran Britain's intelligence network during the war.
Anyone have more info/insight on the subject?
