Islamabad:The consistency and continuity of Pakistan's economic policies have generated confidence among foreign investors and a number of Malaysian companies are intrested to invest in South Asian economy,which has emerged as a promising market.This was stated by the head of a visiting Malaysian investors delegation,Tan Sri Abd Rahim Mohammad ,Executive chairman Eden Enterprise during a meeting with Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh,Federal minister for privatisation and Investment here on Thursday.The Malaysian investors expressed keen intrest to invest in Pakistan in energy,tourism,food and beverage and other sectors on immediate basis.The leader of Malaysian delegation informed the minister that investment to the tune of US$1billion has been made available for two projects in the energy sector.
A 200MW green project was being established in ZamZama gas feild in Dadu while 655MW Sukki Kanari Hydro power project has been planned in Naran,he said.
