Subject: First critical element of WW-II fighter plane effectivness?
45-Shooter    1/18/2013 9:22:46 PM
Given that the "typical" WW-II Single engine fighter could be spotted at 1-2 miles, depending on aspect, about half the time, I propose that the smaller the plane, the more effective it will be! Sort of a semi-stealth solution to the "Spotting" problem?

This image?
I do not know how you did it, but this is not the picture I cut and pasted from the prior post. The pic I posted was of a small oil refinery from the set of ten you posted long ago. In it there were hundreds of bomb craters all over the picture frame with maybe 5% inside the factory fence and less than 1/3 of the facilities damaged/destroyed. See the line below as part of the original post about counting the craters...

Is this your proof? Are you jesting with us? It is not what I posted at all. But incompetent is what I expect  from you.

Ah when you cannot write the truth, you lie, and expect others to do YOUR work? You wrote the lie Prove it true.

Show me. Do not tell me and expect me to believe you after I have already caught you in lie after lie after lie after lie....

count the craters to determine how many are inside the fence, then count the buildings to find the % destroyed!

Actually, your pictures prove my point! Public relations and moral building go hand in hand and the rational person will look at the pictures YOU POST See the link above from your original post! and count the buildings still standing and divide by the total number of buildings in the frame to find the damage percentage. Or the number of hits on the canal as a fraction of the number of bomb craters in the picture frame?

Wrongo, me boy! They showed bomb scatter and lack of effective coverage. Look at the Pics and tell us all what %age of the buildings are damaged and what %age are destroyed. Then come back and make this stupid claim again.

Ok before I do please fill in some supporting evidence

1, how many aircraft were involved in the raid
2, what type of aircraft
3, what bombs were used and what wieght of each type
4, what weather conditions
5, what level of fire suppression were availiable to the target
6, what was the construction of the target
7, where were the targets
8, what was the effective damage done rather than observable

If you look at many of the original pictures from that source thread (approx 60, not the two you cherry picked.) under magnification, Stewart, you will see the bombfall hit into what it was supposed to walk...

Coverage is quite good.

You made the claims based on a crafted edited LIE. I therefore call you a liar with proof. It is up to you to prove me wrong. I have proved you are a liar three times, just on this calendar day and in this thread in this very post!

See if you can figure out how. In fact I TOLD you how but you are too blind to see.

1, how many aircraft were involved in the raid
From the pictures, obviously not enough!

2, what type of aircraft
Lancasters.

3, what bombs were used and what wieght of each type
Standard mixed loads.

4, what weather conditions
European in broad daylight.

5, what level of fire suppression were availiable to the target
Standard German for that region.

6, what was the construction of the target
Brick wall, with truss roof spans and typical roofing materials.

7, where were the targets
In Germany!

8, what was the effective damage done rather than observable
NONE!

Now, based on both what you can see and what you know from the above answers, how would you rate the effects as shown on the BDA Photo above? Just as the RAF would have had to do it during the real war.
