| becuz unlike kosovo or bosnia, alot of southern sudanese don't want to separate, and alot of southern sudanese don't even know why they are involved in such a war, the rebels in the south of sudan have thier notorous history of human right abuses, worst of all, the recruitment of children to serve in the front lines. alot of sudanese from the south would rather live in government control areas, there are alot of southern sudanese that live in khartoum, and finally, the leader of the southern rebels is merely a war lord that benifits from this war personally, more than his cause does.
it's not a typical case of opression or racial clensing like it's being shown, and the united states intellegence sources know that very well. |
