He's just pandering for votes.
 
Don't worry, there are not even enough Democrats in congress dumb enough to actually try it.  The rich are mobile because they are, well, RICH.  Tax them heavy enough and they will leave and take their investments with them.  He knows this because it is what he would do.  He is one of the rich, and NO, he will not voluntarily give his money to the government, just yours.

Maybe I need to order a custom bumper sticker tile array that says "If you believe in wealth redistribution then give me a thousand dollars".

Is redistribution what entitlements are all about? We are already doing this. Both parties are redistributing wealth.
