Subject: Chinese blogger sees foreign leaders in China for Games as paying tribute in the manner
Zhang Fei    7/30/2008 8:00:32 PM
of antiquity - where China's neighbors acknowledged China as the emperor of "all under heaven" (Quote) As foreign leaders gather in Beijing for the opening ceremony of the Olympics, they would not dare to sit when the Chinese master of ceremonies yells “stand,” just as they would not dare to stand when they are told to “sit.” They must listen to the Chinese national anthem. And they must be on their feet while they gaze at the Chinese national flag with respect...Ten thousand states have come to pay tribute to the Middle Kingdom, just as the Chinese anticipated a century ago. Confusing being polite with being subservient, will create nasty suprises for China.

The moment the Chinese would try to collect taxes abroad, they would get an @$$ whooping like you would'nt believe.

Which blog?  I'll bet that similar write ups are occurring in local Chinese newspapers (ones that fluent foreigners don't typically read).  And that foreign leaders (including our lovable George) will be "coordinated" in their actions in such a way that they don't know that their actions are showing deference to Chinese leadership.
