Subject: The Phillipines can be strong under the rule of the right guy
Feldmarschall    2/2/2006 10:49:28 AM
hello everyone. let me introduce myself-I am a Filipino/German citizen and a true patriot. The Philippine defense forces are a joke compared to those of its neighbors and it is very stupid of Filipino politicians not do improve the military capabilities of their own country. It is not the lack of money that is the reason for this miserable state of our armed-forces but rather corruption and the stupidity of most Filipino politicians. The Philippines has the ability to purchase up to 400 Mirage-200 jets,200 T-90 main-battle tanks,70-100 corvettes/guided-missile vessels and create a program to build own naval vessels and aircraft within at least 15 years time. This should be ossible according to the official military the Philippine dept. of Defense has every year. The money is there but it lands in the the politicians' and Generals' pockets. They ought to be shot in Luneta or sent to sent to exile to set an example for future leaders. It is time for a change in our country-the sooner the better. China will someday attack us---it is a Communist country and those aware of the goals of Communism know what I'm talking about. The Philippines may be the next "Tibet"--and I don't want that to happen. A very good friend of mine and I are both members of the strongest party in germany and if we he someday gets to be the chancellor and were to be Phillipine Pres.---then we have the chance to make our beloved motherland rise and also get rid of the "yellow threat".

"The Phillipines can be strong under the rule of the right guy" No it won't, I believe no matter who you put in top the matters will only be the same. The leader is not only the problem partly the people are to blame rather yet hell blame the media. Those lunatics who spread unhappiness to their fellow country men. Hell if I'm on top I'll probably censor those idiots. The ordinary citizen is partly to blame they complain of poor wages but the question is how they use those wages. Do they buy a beer, gamble, smoke or any other vices? The reason for this country's inability to rise up is because of the peoples undiscipline. The Filipinos are undisciplined I should know that because I am one. Although I am only first year in High School I can see it know among my classmates, friends even in my teachers. They keep on telling us about colonial mentality and support Filipino products yet they themselves buy foreign wares. I would see them going to stores like Nike, Puma and other imported goods stores. As for the underclassed citizen they are misinformed and believe anything they hear. In the 2004 election an actor with no political experience, a high school drop out almost beated an experienced politician (GMA) who graduated from an American University how was that? If we say that FPJ wins the election and the country's economy collapses who is to blame but themselves. They will again rally in the streets of EDSA calling for justice end of corruption or something like that. In order for this country to rise wn need a DICTATOR. Preferebly a man with the intelligence of Marcos nad the honesty of Ramon Magsaysay but the problem is where to find such a man. As Napoleon Bonaparte wanted it a government for the people but not by the people and the Filipino does not know what is good for themselves.

The Philippines used to be a Spanish colony. So it suffers the same problems as other former Spanish colonies. The good news is that the French never ran the country, thank God. Look at the world today. The former British colonies did better: USA, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, etc. The former Spanish colonies did not do as well: Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, the Philippines, etc. The former French colonies are disasters: Vietnam, West Africa, Louisiana, Haiti, etc. If only the Philippines was a former British colony, it would be in much better shape because the Brits were very good at training the locals and getting them to work and run things. The Filipinos act like lazy Spaniards taking siestas, closing up early, not working hard, too much partying, and so on. They should copy the British-derived hard charging model of the USA. Open 24/7 for business, fewer vacations, learn in and out of school, less time protesting and more time working, low taxes, friendly to local and foreign business, and arrogant enough to believe and do anything.
