Subject: More minor injuries in Kandahar

another roadside bomb injures 4 soldiers riding in their lav3 about 50 km ne of kandahar. seems that part of 'stan was the birthplace of the taliban and is to this day a hotbed of reactionary types. be interesting to see what if any progress the guys have made by the time they leave.

I'm glad the LAVIII did its job and took the brunt of the IED.

Did you catch the latest non-attack injuries in the Khandahar area when a G-wagon ran off the road. One casualty airlifted to Germany for more intensive treatment/observation. We can expect more casualties now that we have taken command of the NATO Bg. in the south of Afghanistan. Will be interesting to see if the Dutch 'bug out' on us and the Brits and Aussies.

the dutch are deploying there. whether they will leave their posts to do anything useful remains to be seen.
