Subject: Cdn. Griffons modified for gunship role

Not sure which is worse, the use of a less than adequate utility helo as a gunship, or the Canadian Liberal Party's Defence Critic Ujjal Dosanjh saying the helo's should only be used for "defensive purposes" and not in an offensive role. No doubt the troops on the ground and the Chinook pilots wouldn't mind the help, but this misuse of an updated Huey is a bad idea instead of spending to get an uparmoured, modern weapons system, with better flight capability than the Griffon.
