Subject: Canada should ban VISA's to middle east, like the USA
sikhwarrior    2/15/2004 7:57:36 PM
I think that Canada should stop giving so many VISA's to countries so bent on terrorists especially muslim countries who seem to hate jews as much as the nazi's did. Also I have noticed in parts of the GTA there is a huge muslim population, this scares the out of me. Once these muslims become large in numbers they will corrupt our society and canadian way of life I am sure of it. The hindu's of India have also taken great notice in their societies. Simply look at all the conflict they spew all over the world. Even a muslim province in china is causing great conflict. They are against all non believers of their faith, we can not allow them to spread in Canada. I would much rather see chinese, Indian or european immgrants than those from muslim dominated nations. Infact its been said that there will be more than 20 million muslim in the US alone by the year 2020. Both the US and Canada are christian dominated countries and they shouldn't forget this. Christianity I believe should protect itself from the muslim belief systems or there will be a clash (maybe like the crusades).

Hmmm.. Where to begin.. Some of what you say I would agree with, I would reduce (but not ban) VISA's to the middle east, or at least do a much more comprehensive security check on those that get them, as a terrorism preventer. Being on-campus as I am, I am exposed to a variety of religions. Here are some of my observations: Christians: Frequently various christian societies on campus have socials and various other fundraisers. They try to spread their religion but are basically just an annoyance. Muslims: Much the same as christians, though post 9-11 they seem to have become more prominent on-campus and are trying to enlighten people about their religion. To an extent I would imagine they are succeeding, but these are typically second/third generation muslims and thus none of them are indicative of the type of muslims seen in the middle east. Though a couple of them irritated me recently by groping a couple of my girlfriends on the dance floor at the campus bar. However, this is merely indicative of the presence of testicles. Jews: I really don't notice them at all, as as far as I can tell they don't do anything at all on campus. Except for occupy the sweetest spot for room-allocation that a student society can get, right smack in the middle of university center. A lot of people think of the USA as the melting pot of the world, where everyone from everywhere comes together. This isn't really true anymore if it ever was.. Even in the early history of the USA it was mostly europeans and africans being imported. In Canada nowadays, people get imported from everywhere. Most notably China and the middle-east, and I personally am not concerned. This could be because I am agnostic, and religion is all the same to me. As such I am not at all worried about defending christianity or anything else for that matter. As long as people keep their beliefs out of my face and continue to cooperate for the good of the country and -everyone- in it. However, I would be highly pissed off if as a hypothetical example, a group of muslims somewhere decided they wanted to live under Shariah (sp?) and rebelled or something. If you want to my country you can keep your beliefs and do whatever it is you please, as long as it does not affect anyone else adversely and you leave your sh*t behind...

The one thing that bothers me the most are religions that try to spread there beliefs on to others and thinking they are doing a good deed. Muslims and christians doing this by far the most. You will never see a buddist, a sikh or a hindu spreading there religion. In addition I don't think you understand the savarity of the over pop. of muslims in our golden countries. I assiociate with muslims almost on a regular basis, they are so heavily influenced by their religion almost like they were programmed. Not all muslim are like this, but then again they are real muslims if they don't abide by the lifestyle (eg pray 5 times a day). The beauty about christianity is that it is much more liberal than the islam (eg catholic community allowing gays to get married). Islam however is proud that they haven't changed since its existence, quite remarkable yet orthadox. Actually at my school its gotten so bad that i see them going around preaching to white people about their faith. Moreover the population in Canada must have grown after the 9/11 attacks thousands amoung thousands seeked refugee status in Canada, you should have seen border lines; packed with scared muslims. If you learn a bit of history of there origins you will learn much or even study the quran will give you deeper insight of kind of people they really are.
