Subject: The Political Astuteness of Obama
eldnah    6/24/2010 10:48:55 AM
By placing Petraeus in command Obama is covering his behind well. If Afghanistan continues to go down hill Obama will say he did all he could do. By putting America's most reputable general in charge he has a "Name" to take the heat if the situation collapses. More importantly he is taking the best person who, if he resigned his commission and chose to run for president would most easily beat Obama, off the table. Obama may have the executive ability of a kid running a lemonade stand but he's a helluva politition.

Comparing to what about to hapen, the McChrytal debacle will not be any factor to 2012.

The real problem with the progressive left Marxists is that they reward the ones who should be punished, and punish the ones who should be rewarded. Their fixation on homosexual pressure group is unprecedented. Yet they have no explanation when shown with STD infection rate. Their insistence on amnesty to illegal alien is slap in the face to citizens and legals alike. And, don't forget about the tax hike they are talk nowadays. While real wages and tax on the middle class are worsening, guess who still get great benefit and paycheck.

What does homosexuality have to do with anything?  There is no correlation between greater STI prevalence and sexual preference.  There is a correlation between higher STI prevalence and higher risk sexual behavior.  And, before this little bitty is trotted out, there is no correlation between sexual preference and higher risk sexual behavior.  Plus, before someone says "anal sex is itself a higher risk behavior, so there is an obvious connection!"  No, not necessarily.  Anal sex without a condom IS, but anal sex without a condom is not.  Condom rates are basically identical across the board irrespective of sexual preference.

You seem to assume that all wealth that is acquired is acquired rightfully.  Considering the history of this nation, the wealth distribution and the inheritance laws this is clearly absurd.  Those who are wealthy are not necessarily those who "should be rewarded" especially considering most of this nation exists on stolen land improved by stolen labor.

Gee, Chinchilla.  You're quite the expert on anal sex and sexually transmitted diseases.  I had no idea.

I work in public health, thus have access to lots of public health related information.  Combine that with an annoyance for some of the ridiculous arguments for providing homsexuals with less rights than other citizens and you get knowledge of some rather odd topics.  If your trying to say I sound gay well, my wife and child (soon to be two!) would take issue with you.  If you think thats an insult though thats your cup of tea, not mine.

You should tell that to the Arabs and tell them all go back to Arab pennisula and give Egypt back to Coptics. You don't know any real history, but only fabricated Marxistory.

In fact, I couldn't care less about homosexuals. They want risky sexual behavior, fine, not my business. However, when a policy such as abolishment of DADT and promotion of sexual deviant behavior are top agenda as you can read from CNN and other major MFM, then there is a problem. As a matter of fact, repealing DADT is actually the current top military agenda, even more important than the Afghan War and possible conflict with Iran.

The nature of homosexual behavior (we are talking about male homosexual here, since lesbian is rather a fabricated, self-acknowledged life style promoted by, once again, MFM) is promiscuous. Anything painted othewise is a lie. This has been proven yet again by recent study in Netherlands:

[quote]
Overall, combined rates of Chlamydia and gonorrhea were just over 10 percent among straight people, 14 percent among gay men, just under 5 percent in female prostitutes, and 10.4 percent among swingers, they found. And female swingers had higher infection rates than male swingers.
[unquote]
It only shows that they are even more promiscuous than swingers. There is nothing wrong with being sexually promiscuous in a free society, but when they try to hide deviance in order to look good and promote their life style, then something is really fishy behind the scene.

That's a pretty serious charge. PROVE IT.

The article does not say what you think it does.  For example it only addresses Chlamydia and Gonorrhea prevalence, I am talking about STI's in general.  Considering its estimated that 1 in 4 sexually active people in the U.S. have an STI it skews the results significantly.

also from the article you posted

"More than half (55%) of all diagnoses in the over 45s were made in swingers compared with around a third (31%) in gay men."

and the kicker...

"Potentially they [swingers] may act as an STI transmission bridge to the entire population," they add.

Risky behavior is risky.  Sexual preference is Sexual preference.
