Have you ever thought about the degree which government in our country has come to resemble racketeering organized crime?

 

There is so-called campaign finance reform. Essentially, our representatives get campaign contribution money by threatening us with what might happen to us if we don't successfully compete with other interests in giving money to them. That is extortion.

 

In my state, gambling is illegal except the kind which is run by state government. They control gambling like a Mafia family. How long until they add drugs and prostitution at the local, state or federal level?

 

Then we see these big government liberals going greedily after all sources of money in the economy. And we see them spending money on themselves in record amounts.

 

There is a legitimate function for government.

 

Then there is what our government does.

JFK and previous liberals wanted to use the government to make the country stronger overall and help everyone.  LBJ realized he could create a permanent block of D voters wholly dependent upon the government.  That set up the perverse system of rewards and punishments where the harder you work the more you get taken from you and the less you do the more the government helps you.  This is a prescription for destroying civilization.  I noted an article in a newspaper about panhandlers.  It stated that many of them come from good families but they like a lifestyle with no responsibility.  Local businesses (including pot based businesses, big part of the establishment there, huh?) finally got fed up as the panhandlers had formed themselves into armed gangs, often with aggressive dogs in tow.  Of course, local left wing filth "stood up for the human rights of" the panhandlers.  There is a serious mental defect in today's so called liberals.  They hate the system so much they just want to tear it down anyway they can.  Their policies are accomplishing that across the board.
