I fly often and ORD is my usual launch point. Based upon some personal observations this past summer the news report does not suprise me in the least. "Weird" or somesuch is all I post here. VERY WEIRD. I would not be personally-surprised to read about other similar events at ORD some point in time. Call it a hunch. Good thing we have TSA, eh?

I would add: it is my sincerest hope that what we may be reading about consists solely of authorized US government actors probing our transportation security system to further harden protocol while avoiding blatant demographic discrimination. That would be a best-case scenario in my book. One can wish, can he? 0.02
